Is "Pet tinic" liquid vitamin ok for a chronic renale disease cat? would it interfere with a cat that has diab

my cat Lucy is 19 and I thought Id supplement her with liquid vitamins, they have this bottled vitamin at the vet.. in case she ever gets worse and possibly gets diabetes as a result of her BUN and creatinine and other levels, would this elixir pose problems?? It smells sweet. Thanks and please give details.
