I read your question a little different. Are you asking the risks associated when you have been diagnosed with diabetes? If so, diabetes when not properly taken care of can lead to ALOT! Loss of vision, loss of limbs, heart problems, death, etc. When not properly dealt with, diabetes can mess with the circulation system. Imagine trying to drink sugar water through a straw, now add more and more sugar and try sucking it up. Basically this is what diabetes can do to your circulatory system. However, with proper medical attention and compliancy to your doctors medical regimine, diabetes can be controlled. Good Luck!!

if you have diabetes, the risks you can have is:

if you dont take care of your feet, you’ll have gangrene. so, change socks everyday. wear comfortable shoes.dont wear sandals often, it will be prone to wounds and wounds are a problem with diabetic people.

diabetics are prone to hypertension- meaning you can have high blood pressure. so, take care of your diet.stick with the low salt intake and low cholesterol diet.

Overweight, family history, diet high in sugar/fat/simple carbohydrates and low in veggies, fruits and other complex carbs. In my case, I loss weight and have a good diet but I am hypoglycemic (produce too much insuline) so I am at a higher risk because eventually my pancreas can get tired of working so hard and will produce too little insuline, making me a diabetic. So, I take medicine to avoid that. Also, if you have had gestational diabetes ( abnormally high sugar levels only during pregnancy, usually last trimester) then even if your sugar levels go back down to normal after giving birth, you are already in a higher risk category. that happened to me too so I am trying to keep an active healthy lifestyle and keeping my fingers crossed! Wish me good luck!
