Could I have diabetes? (And yes, I’m a girl.)?
For the past two weeks, I’ve been getting up at around 3 am everyday to go pee. I’m not peeing excessively throughout the day, it’s just weird that I’m getting up in the middle of the night!
I started school a few weeks ago, so cold my biological clock being messed up have something to do with me peeing so early? Cause during the summer, I got up at 8-8:30 am and went to bed at 11:30. Now I’m getting up at 6 am and going to bed at 10.
And I eat pretty healthy. We’re Asian so we have stir-fry all the time, with tons of veggies. We rarely eat out (except I have lunch everyday at school). I don’t eat junk food a lot, just like a tiny bag of chips once or twice a week, and a chocolate bar every couple days.
And no one in my family has diabetes.
And I don’t pee way too much during the day, it’s just the morning.
But when I told someone I was peeing like this, they said that it could be a sign of diabetes, so I’m kinda terrified.
I’m thirteen years old.
So could it be diabetes? I know only a doctor can tell, but some reassurance would be nice.
